Women hating on other women! WHY?

Hey guys and gals, this post is going to be on something that I feel very strongly about. Girls hating on other girls. A rather nasty comment left on a YouTube video by the SacconeJolys provoked me to write this post. A couple of weeks ago, I was watching a vlog by the Irish couple and their adorable daughter and I noticed an argument in the comment section where a woman had commented on Anna's looks. Now, this is just an example, so if you don't know these vloggers (although I suggest that you check them out), it doesn't matter.

I was disgusted by this comment. It was completely unnecessary and just plain rude and judging by the replies, many others agreed with me. This woman wasn't commenting on anything other than her looks and there are so many reasons why this got to me:

1. Why do people feel that it is okay to say horrible things to people over the internet that they would never say to them face to face?
2. It was just disgusting, vile and rather hypocritical as no one's perfect.
3. Why do so many bitchy comments directed at women youtubers come from other women ? We should be supporting each other and not being bitches just because we don't like people's looks. IT'S SO RUDE.

Now, I am not saying that men aren't horrible in the comments section. I'm just focussing on girl on girl hate in this post. To quote Tina Fey in Mean Girls: "you all have got to stop calling each other sluts and whore. It just makes it okay for guys to call you sluts and whores." And it's true. If guys hear us saying this stuff to each other, they will say it too.

I hear it all the time: girls constantly bitching about each other (I'm guilty of it myself). But why oh why do girls bitch about each other's looks? Don't we all have aspects of ourselves that we dislike? Okay, if someone's pissed you off, just tell them, have it out and be done with it. But saying something like "her teeth are so crooked" or "she's so ugly". WHY? How does it effect you (I mean the "you" in general here, haha) in any way? At all. Ever.

I feel like this is one of those posts where I am going to think of more things to say after I've posted it so I might add to this. For now, peace out xxx

Game of Thrones 30 Day Challenge (Day Thirty)

30. Favourite book/episode?

Well, I haven't read all of the books so I can't say. This is a tricky one because I like a lot of the earlier episodes when all of the characters are still alive haha. However, I think I'll go with season 3, ep. 4 when Daenerys buys the unsullied. She's just so badass in that episode. OH and I also like the episode when she goes to find her dragons and sees Khal Drogo and their son, it's so lovely.

So that concludes this 30 Day Challenge, I hope you enjoyed it and I will be back soon with more posts.
